At this time, applications for participants have been closed. We greatly appreciate all of you who applied, and we are working hard on next steps!
The Program division is committed to creating an interesting, educational, and inclusive program. We are excited about featuring Los Angeles and Southern Californian participants, the tapestry of communities that overlap with and are adjacent to Worldcon, and recent and current Hugo finalists and winners.
We will prioritize the participation of underrepresented voices from within the wider speculative fiction community, including participants who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, LGBTQIA+, and participants with disabilities.
We are hoping to have several panels in Spanish, presuming that there is enough interest shown. We are also very interested in having teen and young adult program participants.

- November 17, 2025 – Main Program Participant Survey and Pitch Survey open
- December 2025 – Call For Academic Papers opens
- January 31, 2026 – Pitch Survey closes
- March 31, 2026 – Main Program Participant Survey closes
- May 2026 – Session Selection opens
- June 2026 – Draft Schedules sent to Participants
