Mobility Scooters
LAcon will not offer scooter rentals directly through the convention, but you are welcome to make your own arrangements for delivery to your hotel. The Anaheim Convention Center recommends the following providers:

Interpreters and Captions
We plan to provide ASL interpreting for main stage events such as the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, the Masquerade, and the Hugo Awards. We also expect these events to be captioned by live human captioners; human captioning is also planned for the Business Meeting.
We encourage members to email accessibility@lacon.org as soon as possible to inquire about interpreters and live human captioning at other panels and events. We will be providing automated captioning at most panels (using the same technology as Seattle Worldcon in 2025).
Hotel Information
The convention’s hotels, the Hilton and Marriott, both offer accessible accommodations. The Hilton has 19 rooms with a roll-in shower, and 27 rooms with a low-step bathtub. The Marriott has 8 rooms with a roll-in shower, 4 rooms with a low-step shower, and 21 rooms with a standard bathtub. These rooms are first-come, first-serve; if your preferred room type is not available, please contact the hotel directly to inquire about a waiting list.
Other hotels in the immediate area also have accessible accommodations. If the room type you need is not available in one of the convention’s hotels, please consider checking other nearby hotels as well.
Dietary Information
We are working on gathering information regarding food options for a variety of diets, including vegetarian/vegan, gluten-free, diabetic, and kosher options. We expect to provide a refrigeration option for medication in one of the Safer Spaces rooms. The Hilton and Marriott include mini-refrigerators in all guest rooms; for other hotels, please contact them directly to discuss refrigeration options..
