What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for vendors for our Dealers Room as follows:
- Vendors who produce and/or sell books, products and services that are of interest to fans of Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, related genres, or fandom itself.
- Vendors who produce and/or sell products and services with a distinct California flair.
- Vendors who are new to the community as well as seasoned vendors to create a new experience for our attendees.

When is the application deadline?
April 20, 2026
Can I apply after that date?
Yes, but all applications received after April 2026 will be placed on a waiting list, if space becomes available.
When will I learn if my application is accepted?
We hope to send out all acceptances and regrets by May 2026.
May I share a space with a fellow vendor?
Yes, but each vendor needs to submit an individual application. You can also let us know if you need to be near another vendor.
What are the various spaces available to dealers?
We have four options available.
- 8-foot table (one 8’ x 30” table, two chairs, one vendor badge) – $455
- Additional tables – $280
- 10’ x 10’ booth (inline) (one 8’ x 30” table, two chairs, two vendor badges) – $800
- 10’ x 10’ booth (corner) (two 8’ x 30” tables, four chairs, two vendor badges) – $950
All spaces come with table covering and skirting and a garbage receptacle.
Can I get additional badges for my booth helpers?
There are two kinds of badges.
Regular convention badges are available through Registration for the rate available at that time. These badges for a specific person convey full Worldcon WSFS privileges, including Hugo Award nominations and finalist voting and site selection.
Vendor badges are available for booth helpers. These discounted badges under the name of the business can be handed off between staff for access to the building but do not come with the same WSFS rights. The Vendor badges will cost $175 each and can only be purchased via the Dealers Payment page.
Do the dealer spaces include power and/or internet access?
Dealer spaces do not include access to power. We will have this information in the future when the convention center gives us specifications.
There is general internet available within the convention center. We expect to be able to negotiate for higher bandwidth for dealers’ use for a price to be set in the future. When information is available it will be made available to accepted dealers.
Where are the dealer spaces located?
Dealers will be located in Exhibit Hall, North Hall ACC Level 100
What are the dates and times?
Confirmed Dealers Room times will be posted closer to the event. LACon V is Thursday August 27 through Monday August 31, 2026. Move-in will begin on Wednesday. Thursday hours may be 2pm to 7pm. Friday, Saturday Sunday hours will be 10am to 6pm. Monday hours will begin at 10 am and close may be 3pm.
Do I need a California state business license?

What is the local tax information?
The sales tax rate for Orange County, CA is 7.75. Individual dealers are responsible for handling taxes with California. More information is available at https://cdtfa.ca.gov/
