The Events division has multiple exciting events planned for our various venues: our Main Stage, which is the Anaheim Convention Center Domed Arena, our Second Stage and Cabaret Stage in the Anaheim Hilton, and the Anaheim Convention Center (ACC) North building. (All times in PDT, US Pacific Daylight Time.)
Main Stage events this year are:
- Opening Ceremonies: Thursday, August 27, 7:30pm
- South Side Symphony Anime Juke Jam: Friday, August 28, time TBD
- Masquerade: Saturday, August 29, 8:00pm
- Hugo Awards Ceremony: Sunday, August 30, 8:00pm
Second Stage will feature a variety of theatrical performances, game shows, and more, while the Cabaret Stage is the hub of our musical performances. Our concerts and dances will be held there, including a Friday night dance featuring DJ John Scalzi.
The ACC North building is where our LAcon V Film Festival will be held. This curated festival will feature independent filmmaking from around the world for all five days of the convention.
