Parking, Shuttles & Rideshare

For the benefit of all attending members of this year’s Worldcon, LAcon V, we’ve put together this handy guide to parking, both for hotel guests at the Hilton & Marriott  as well as day parking at the Anaheim Convention Center, as well as shuttle services, rideshare, and regional parking info.  Be sure to click on the map at right for a larger version.  (If you’re staying at other hotels, please refer to the parking instructions from your reserved facility.) 

Hilton Anaheim

For hotel guest parking at the Hilton Anaheim, 777 Convention Center Way in Anaheim, visit their website… be sure to scroll down to the Parking & Transportation section for rates and information.

Anaheim Marriott

For hotel guest parking at the Anaheim Marriott, 700 Convention Center Way in Anaheim, visit their website.

Note that convention members staying at the Anaheim Marriott have a special rate of $40 +10% off for self park; please be sure to mention that you are an LAcon V member at check-in. There is no discounted rate for Valet parking.

Anaheim Convention Center

Day parking at the Anaheim Convention Center North (ACC North) at 800 West Katella Ave in Anaheim, is on a first-come basis, and there are approximately 1,000 spaces.  Please note the following:

  • There is no reserved or valet parking available.
  • Parking is allowed through midnight, but overnight parking is prohibited.
  • The parking ticket is valid for one entry only and is not valid for in-and-out parking.

ADA & Electric Vehicle Charging spaces are available on a very limited, first-come basis in the ACC North Car Park.

Vehicle Rates for a standard size vehicle (less than 19’ in length), parking at the convention center is $25.00 per day, per entry.

Very limited oversized parking will be available at $50+ per vehicle per day, per entry on a first-come, first-served basis. Oversized vehicles are defined as: a vehicle over 6’8” in height or over 19’ in length. Oversized vehicle parking is available at off-site lot locations.

The convention center accepts the following payment types: MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Visa, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. No cash will be accepted.

The parking fee is surrendered upon entering the parking lot and the parking receipt is not transferable. The parking ticket is valid for one entry only and is not valid for in-and-out parking. All vehicles are required to park within marked stalls and must pay attention to all signage posted or leading into the parking areas. The map of available parking lot locations is located at the top of this page.

Shuttle Buses

There are OCTA shuttle buses that run in and around the Anaheim Convention Center and Anaheim/Disneyland Resort area, which make various stops including the ARTIC transportation hub.  Pick-up/drop-off for these locations are on the octa.net website. We recommend checking in with your hotel property for options getting to and from the convention center.

Rideshare and Taxis

Rideshare companies (Uber, Lyft) and taxis will pick-up and drop-off at the Transit Plaza near Hall E as well as at the entrance of Convention Way by Morton’s Steakhouse. These are the only two places for rideshare pick-up and drop-off. For additional transportation information please visit the OCTA website.

Free Parking & Other Info

Note that there is NO free parking near the Anaheim Convention Center. However, there is free street parking several blocks away. Please pay attention to the signs about street cleaning days and whether the neighborhood requires a parking permit. There is virtually no street parking around Disneyland, and the neighborhoods surrounding it usually require a parking permit.
